What “auto detailing” actually means
A car wash cleans the surface. A detail restores it. Detailing is a hands-on, top-to-bottom process: decontaminating the paint so it feels smooth, cleaning wheels, jambs and trim, and deep-cleaning the interior with steam and extraction instead of a quick vacuum.
Paint correction goes one step further. It machine-polishes the clear coat to remove swirls and haze, which is what makes paint look deep and glossy again. A ceramic coating then locks that finish in for years and makes every wash after it faster.
If your car only needs a reset inside, start with the interior. If the paint looks dull or swirled in the sun, start with paint correction. If you want it to stay that way, ask about ceramic coating.
