How Landon coats a car
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. That is why most of the 10 to 15 hours go into the paint before any coating touches it.
Consultation & inspection
Landon inspects the paint under light, asks how the vehicle is used and stored, and recommends the right protection level. No upselling.
Wash & decontamination
Foam pre-soak, careful hand wash, then chemical and clay-bar decontamination of the paint and glass.
Paint correction
Machine polishing to reduce swirls, scratches and haze, matched to your paint's condition.
Panel prep
Polishing oils are wiped away so the coating bonds directly to bare clear coat.
Coating application
Applied one panel at a time, leveled and checked under lighting for high spots.
Final inspection & aftercare
A full walk-around with you and simple care instructions so the coating performs for years.

Ask about adding a coating to your glass and wheels. Coated glass sheds rain more easily, and coated wheels make brake dust much easier to wash off. Landon will tell you honestly whether it is worth it for how you drive.

How much does the Ceramic Coating Package cost?

How long does a ceramic coating take?
Allow 10 to 15 hours. Most of that time is paint prep and correction, which is what makes a coating look and last the way it should.
Which coating level should I choose?
It depends on how long you plan to keep the vehicle, whether it is garaged or parked outside, and how it is driven. Landon will recommend a level and will not push you into a bigger package than you need.
Does a ceramic coating prevent rock chips and scratches?
No. A coating adds gloss, makes washing easier and helps resist UV, chemicals and contaminants, but it does not stop rock chips, deep scratches, hail or door dings. Landon will explain what to expect up front.
Where is the coating done?
At Landon's Blue Ridge location, which is ideal because a coating takes 10 to 15 hours and should cure out of the weather. If you need it, Landon can accommodate working at your place; ask when you book. Clients come from Blue Ridge, McKinney, Frisco, Allen, Plano, Prosper, Celina, Fairview, Lucas, Melissa, Anna, Farmersville and Princeton.
How do I care for a coated car?
Wash it regularly with a gentle, pH-neutral method and avoid harsh brush car washes. Landon walks you through aftercare when he hands the car back. Monthly Exterior Maintenance is also available for coated vehicles.
